Conditions to Change: Your brand new future is not market driven, nor is it susceptible to capricious forces such as the economy, inflation or other essentials of everyday life. Your brand new future is here in spite of your employment situation; your wages or your portfolio. Regardless of debt to ratio, credit card interest rates or your shrinking dollar, your brand new future is at the front door!
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come; the old has gone, the new is here! (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Mind to Change: Your brand new future is not wishy washy; it does not need to check in with anyone. It will not sit for coffee and debate its relevance nor will it accede to being rescheduled while you “pray about it”. Your brand new future will sit idly while you confer with family and friends as to whether this is in your best interest.
Forget the former things. Do not dwell on the past. (Isaiah 43:18)
Friends to Change: What do the people who surround you talk about most? Their dreams? Goals? What type of language are they using? What are they doing with their lives? How do they treat others? How do they treat their elders? How do they speak to their children? What are their ideas? How do they speak about God? These may seem small and insignificant, but they add up in your spirit over time. Your brand new future will not wait for you to get a new slate of friends.
